This policy explains what information FPV Racing Drones collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your personal information.

FPV Racing Drones (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website located at fpv-racing-drones.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors, readers, and users of the Site.

We are an independent publisher of FPV drone reviews, buying guides, and educational content based in the United States. This policy is written to comply with U.S. federal law (including the FTC Act and COPPA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and — where applicable to visitors from the European Union and UK — the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information, as defined by the CCPA:

⚠ About “Selling” or “Sharing” Personal Information: Under the CCPA’s broad definition, the use of certain advertising and analytics cookies (such as those from Google AdSense) may be considered “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — even though no money changes hands. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. To opt out of this type of sharing, use the opt-out links provided in Section 06, or any “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link if present on this Site.

How to Exercise Your Rights

California residents can submit a request by contacting us via the methods in Section 15. To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests (e.g., Right to Know or Right to Delete). We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within the timeframes required by law (generally 45 days, extendable by an additional 45 days with notice).

You also have the right to designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to our ability to verify that the agent has been authorized to act on your behalf.

Shine the Light Law

California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83) permits California residents to request information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without consent.

Data Security

Data Retention

We retain different types of information for different periods:

Contact form submissions — retained for as long as necessary to address your inquiry, typically no longer than 24 months.

Server/analytics logs — typically retained for 14–26 months, depending on the analytics provider’s default settings.
